PORTRAITS : JOSEPH ROTY II - One of the largest Trawler in Europe
| (august 2007) One of largest the trawler d'Europe! It belongs to the Company of Fishings of Malo Saint and is used exclusively with the fishing of blue whiting then to manufacture, on board, of the surimi bases!> This boat can be visited free this summer 2007 in Saint Malo (l operation open doors is generally renouvellée each year) Certain photographs show the key figures of the boat and from the company, also we will not extend. The photographs of the sailors in actions are photographs of the images posted in the boat what explains qu'elles are fuzzy. The surimi, it is the small orange batonet with the crab taste for salad. The blue whiting, which not eaten just as it is, is used mainly for the manufacture of the surimi bases (block of fish flesh washed) to which are added in the factory, amidon, color and a perfume (crab, shrimp...)... The trawl is no more re-installed on board but a vacuum cleaner aspires fish once the trawl is on the surface. Vidéos viewed at the time of the visit show the difficulty and the danger of the work of these sailors. | |||
